Life
Get outta bed.
Go to work.
Paint a door
For some jerks.
Go back home.
Take a shower.
Share a meal.
Smell a flower.
Hang with kids.
Shoot some hoops.
Wrestle and fight.
Clean up poops.
Read a book.
Watch a show.
Kiss my kids.
Pray for snow.
Kiss my wife.
Back in bed.
Love is boring
Until you’re dead.
Then looking back
Through the strife.
There you see.
Love is Life.

Enjoyed this poem and loved the point you made with it. Everyday love is boring and, yet, it is also life. A great memorial for your grandfather!
It’s good Tim!
